Documentation
Definition
Identifies a service type as being structured on a hierarchical or combinatory basis.
Use
In the case of standard service catalogs, you can decide whether each service type is to be hierarchical or combinatory.
As a rule, sets of service specifications are combinatory.
Combinatory: After choosing the first module from the first column of the matrix, you can choose any module from the second column as the second module. You proceed in the same way for all further columns.
Hierarchical: After choosing the first module from the first column of the matrix, you can choose only the uppermost one as the second module. You proceed in the same way for all further columns.
