Definition

The indicator is used for cross-system flows of goods, to indicate the existing subprocess.

Use

If a goods movement is performed across a system boundary, for example, a posting in the stock in transit of a plant in a different system, then the issue transaction is posted with characteristic "S" (sender).

The issuing system then creates an IDoc, that is posted in the non-SAP system with the same movement type, but with characteristic "R" (receiver).

Note

This indicator is used for internal program control.
