  • defining BOM status
  • defining the procedure for automatic alternative determination

Dependencies

This indicator is interpreted as follows in the different application areas:

  • In MRP, the indicator is checked directly. MRP only reads BOMs whose status has this indicator.
  • In other application areas (such as costing), the BOM is exploded according to the application. When you define the application for a specific area in the company, you must select this status indicator in the Minimum BOM status requirements dataset before the BOM can be read for BOM explosion.
