Definition
This indicator controls the release of a BOM for work scheduling.
This enables you to allocate material components in a BOM to an operation in a routing.
Use
Used as a criterion for:
- defining the BOM status
- defining the procedure for automatic alternative determination
Dependencies
In the different areas in a company (such as scheduling), the BOM is exploded according to application. When you define the application for a specific area in the company, you must select this status indicator in the Minimum BOM status requirements dataset before the BOM can be read for BOM explosion.
