Procedure

Enter the period leading up to the next possible cancellation date.

Use

The system uses the cancellation period in combination with the period of notice to determine whether a cancellation request can be granted.

Example

A contract can be cancelled every three months after the contract start date. Therefore, you would enter a cancellation period of three months in this field. The period of notice has been defined as 3 weeks. If the customer wants to cancel the contract at the end of the current cancellation period, he or she must submit the cancellation request at least three weeks before the end of the period. Otherwise, the cancellation request cannot be granted until the end of the next cancellation period.
