Definition
This field contains the identification of an insurance provider marked off by the group indicator. Insurance providers are parts of a hierarchical structure and can thus be categorized according to their position within this structure.
In the IS-H System, higher-level elements are characterized by the group indicator. These are referred to as insurance provider groups.
