Definition

Specifies the sales document type that you use to create a sample enclosure as part of a direct mailing.

Use

When you create a direct mailing, you may include a sample enclosure that consists, for example, of advertising materials and products that you want to send to each mailing recipient. In the standard version of the SAP system, the system automatically proposes a product proposal as the sales document type for a sample enclosure. The product proposal is not processed for shipping. When you process the direct mailing, the system creates an internal sales order so that you can ship the enclosure to each recipient on your mailing list.
