Definition

Certain service charge keys are used when a settlement company settles the heating costs. These service charge keys are therefore linked with cost elements of the settlement company. Cost elements belong to cost groups which are specified by the company.
For example, the cost element "pollution measurement" can be assigned to the cost group "Other payments". Alternatively, you could select the cost group "Heating payments or total amount".

The consequence of this allocation is that the costs are distributed to amount fields which are intended for a cost group during automatic data medium exchange with a settlement company.
