Definition
Indicates the cost element under which the reserves that have been used for this line ID as determined by results analysis or WIP calculation are written.
Use
In results analysis, the usage of the reserves for unrealized costs or of the reserves for the costs of complaints and commissions for this line ID can be written under this cost element.
In WIP calculation, the usage of reserves for unrealized costs for this line ID can be written under this cost element.
The usage of reserves is shown under this cost element in the Cost Object Controlling Information System.
Dependencies
If you have turned on the Split creation/usage indicator in the results analysis version, this cost element shows how much of the reserves for this line ID have been used.
The category of the line ID determines what data you can maintain:
- If the line ID has category K, then reserves for unrealized costs are updated.
- If the line ID has category P, then reserves for complaints and commissions are updated.
When you settle, a posting is generated in Financial Accounting and Profit Center Accounting for the usage of the reserves if you:
- Have turned on the Transfer to Financial Accounting indicator in the results analysis version
- Have defined a posting rule for the reserves for unrealized costs or for the reserves for complaints and commissions
