Definition

Indicator that defines which of the following activities is to be carried out:

  • a supplementary business volume update
  • a recompilation of business volume data, including supplementary business volume update
  • a recompilation of business volume data only

A recompilation is always required if the business volume data contains errors, e.g. as a result of a program error.

You can include a supplementary update of business volume as part of the recompilation.

In the special case of updates that are not carried out, the existing business volume data is correct. It is therefore sufficient to execute a supplementary business volume update to post the missing documents. Special settings for the supplementary business volume update are not required.

A supplementary business volume update is required for condition records entered subsequently (cf. relevant indicator, condition record detailed display) for arrangements that you entered subsequently.

A prerequisite for the supplementary business volume update is that the Subseq. sett. index is selected for all affected vendors. If it is not, business volume data can only be compiled for documents for which an update has been carried out before (recompilation).
