Definition

Specifies the internal condition that the system uses to price an external billing document.

Use

You assign an external condition to each internal condition.

The system compares the value of the internal condition with that of the external condition sent in a self-billing document. If there are any differences, and if you have set the appropriate indicator, the system does not create the related billing document.

You can compare internal and external conditions for processing:

  • Invoices
  • Credit memos for quantity correction
  • Credit memos for retro-billing
  • Debit memos for retro-billing

When you receive an invoice, or credit memo for quantity correction, the system determines the internal condition based on the sold-to party and processing type. You can assign any external conditions for comparison that the customer sends in these self-billing documents.

To compare conditions in retro-billing documents, the system automatically enters the price difference that you calculate into condition PDIF and uses it in the pricing procedure.
