In this field, you can specify the maximum costs of a service (more precisely: a service unit) that are covered by an insurance provider.

Examples

Let us assume that the charge for the personal item "private room" of a hospital is 200 per day, but an insurance provider only covers costs up to 150 per day. You can specify the upper limit of 150 in this field.

Note

In this example, a coverage rate of 75%, which you can enter as an alternative, produces the same result. Note that the amount specified in the Price field may differ from the value that is determined in billing later on.
