Enter A here if you want to make picking confirmation compulsory for all items in this shipping point. This only applies where picking is not performed using MM-WM transfer orders.

Use

If you set this indicator, picking must be confirmed for items in the delivery before you can post goods issue. You can confirm picked quantities in one of the following ways:

• Using a picking request
• In the delivery by selecting the menu path 'Edit -> Confirm PickRequest'
• From a subsystem using either IDocs or the function module for picking (SD_DELIVERY_UPDATE_PICKING)

Note

If you only want certain items (for example, all batch items) in a shipping point to be subject to picking confirmation, you can set up a user exit to control this.
