Definition
An account group is a group of G/L accounts.
Use
Account groups can contain either G/L accounts themselves or other account groups, which in turn can also contain either accounts or other groups. Consequently, you can create hierarchies of accounts to represent your chart of accounts or parts of it. You can define and maintain account groups directly in Profit Center Accounting under "Master data".
