Key which is used by the IS-H System for controlling procedures or for evaluations.

Relevant for nursing staff regulation (nursing acuity) classification:

  • 01 = adult
  • 02 = premature babies/newborn/infants
  • 03 = toddlers
  • 04 = school children/adolescents

Relevant for patient billing:

  • 10 = chief physician choice
  • 11 = external physician choice
  • 12 = workers' compensation therapy

Relevant for the physical status of a newborn:

  • 20 = healthy newborn
  • 21 = sick newborn
