Definition

In this field you can enter the number by means of which the health insurer can be (uniquely) identified.

Example:

  • Germany: 5-digit health insurer number (VKNR)
    (e.g. Deutscher Ärzteverlag)

If the parameter VCARDKEY has the value 3 in table TN00S, this number is used as the comparison field for the key field on the healthcare smart card.
The healthcare smart card data can only be transferred if an insurance provider exists whose health insurer number matches that on the healthcare smart card.

If the health insurer number is not defined as the comparison field for the healthcare smart card, the VKNR specified on the healthcare smart card is compared with the health insurer number. If the VKNR and health insurance company number are not identical, the system issues a warning. However, you can import the healthcare smart card.
