Definition
Description of the object type for objects to be summarized across the defined summarization hierarchy.
Use
You can summarized the following object types on a defined summarization hierarchy:
- Internal orders (order categories 01 and 02)
- Maintenance and service orders (order category 30)
- Manufacturing orders, QM orders, and product cost collectors
- This includes the following order categories:
CO production orders (order category 04), product cost collectors (order category 05), QM orders (order category 06), PP production orders (order category 10), process orders (order category 40). - Projects
- Sales orders
Procedure
Choose the desired objects for your summarization hierarchy that you want to use to summarize values and quantities.
Note
Dependent objects are normally summarized as well. This should be kept in mind in the summarization of projects with assigned internal orders, for example.
For the summarization of sales orders, you can control whether the manufacturing orders assigned to the sales order should also be summarized by choosing the corresponding object type.
