Definition

Field that can be selected as a level for the definition of a summarization hierarchy.

Use

The fields chosen here are used to select orders for summarization and to sum the values and quantities of the orders. For each characteristic value (such as plant 1000), the system calculates a sum and updates it to a summarization object. The values on the individual summarization objects can be analyzed in the information system.

If the available fields are not sufficient to define a summarization hierarchy for your purposes, you can also use an order hierarchy to summarize production orders. The levels of order hierarchies are created from the characteristics of classification.
