Definition

Specifies the fixed portion of the work in process.

Use

This value is calculated during period-end closing in Cost Object Controlling. There are two possible methods:

• valuation with actual costs

  Here the difference between the actual costs incurred and the credits at the time of the goods receipt is reported as work in process.

• valuation with standard costs

  Here the quantity being processed is calculated from the confirmations or reporting point confirmations. This quantity is then valuated with the standard costs up to the operation reached, and reported as work in process.
