Documentation
Definition
Status selection profiles enable orders to be selected depending on their status.
In joint production, the order header can have a different status from the order item because the period-end closing activities such as the calculation of work in process or variances are performed on the order items. In joint production it is therefore possible to have different status selection profiles for the header and the items of an order.
Use
If you want to select only the orders or order items that have a particular status, enter a status selection profile. The system will then only select the orders or order items whose status matches the selection criteria in the status selection profile.
Example
If you are particularly interested in the work-in-process inventory, use a status selection profile to select only the order items for which work in process has been calculated. The status ABGR (results analysis performed) must be entered as a selection criterion in the status selection profile.
You enter the status selection profile in the field "Profile for order items".
Prerequisites
You must have defined the status selection profile in Customizing (see Define Status Selection Profiles).
