If the Flexible cost component report indicator is turned on, accessing the cost component report from a cost estimate (such as a material cost estimate, preliminary cost estimate for a manufacturing order, or preliminary cost estimate for a sales order item) will call up the flexible cost component report.
If this indicator is not turned on, accessing this report from a cost estimate will call up the cost component report (not flexible).
