Number that identifies a cost component structure.
Use
You use a cost component structure in the Product Cost Controlling Information System to view the cost elements grouped into cost element groups (cost components).
In contrast to the cost component structure of Product Cost Planning, this cost component structure is not used for splitting the cost components but rather shows all the cost elements including the cost elements for semifinished products in the Information System.
For this reason you should always create cost components for semifinished products in the cost component structures for the Product Cost Controlling Information System.
Procedure
Define a cost component structure in Customizing for Product Cost Planning by creating at least one cost component for semifinished products.
Enter the number of the cost component structure that was created for the Information System.
Dependencies
If you use the example structure 09 for the cost component split for the planned costs, all costs of semifinished products will be shown in the cost component "Other", which is not advisable.
