Definition
Indicator that shows whether the results analysis version is relevant to settlement.
Use
A results analysis version is considered by the system to be relevant to settlement if the results analysis data of that results analysis version is to be settled according to the settlement rule specified in the object to be settled (such as a sales order item).
For settlement to Profitabilty Analysis, the relevant results analysis version is always results analysis version 0 (version of operational valuation). In addition, the versions created for multiple valuation of operational valuation are also relevant to settlement.
Examples
You are using a nonvaluated sales order stock and will therefore carry out results analysis at the end of the period to calculate the inventory values, reserves, and cost of sales.
Suppose you want to transfer the results analysis data that is relevant to Profitability Analysis to Profitability Analysis.
You proceed as follows:
- You create a results analysis version.
Results analysis version 0 is identified by the system as relevant to settlement.
- You carry out results analysis at the end of the period.
The system calculates the cost of sales.
- You settle.
The system passes the results analysis data that is relevant to Profitability Analysis (such as the cost of sales) to Profitability Analysis.
Dependencies
The settlement rule for settlement to the profitability segment of Profitability Analysis is generated by the system during the first settlement of the object to be settled in accordance with the settings made in Customizing for settlement.
