Supplementary Documentation - KH_KOSTR 0001
Use
The charge catalog determination can be carried out dependent on the insurance provider.
Procedure
- Enter a valid insurance provider in the field or
- mask the field by entering an asterisk ('*') in the 1st position or
- leave the field completely empty and mark the field 'SP' (rule for self-pay patients).
Examples
It is assumed that you have defined a rule for the insurance provider type 'AOK'. You now want to define an alternative rule for insurance provider '4711' who also has the insurance provider type 'AOK'. To specify this rule for just this insurance provider, enter '4711' in the Insurance provider field and enter a '*' in the Insurance provider type field.
Dependencies
- If you enter a value other than an asterisk, the entry is checked against the table of insurance providers.
- You cannot maintain insurance provider and insurance provider type at the same time.
- If you want to define a rule specifically for self-pay patients, mark the field 'SP' and leave the insurance provider empty (no asterisk!).
Please also refer to the access steps to the charge catalog determination rules.
