Documentation
Definition
Controls whether the same organizational units can be assigned to one another in a hierarchy in the "Enterprise Organization" tool.
You can set this indicator for each controlling area. At present, it controls whether company codes may be assigned to one another in a hierarchy.
Caution
In Controlling, company
codes are normally not assigned to each other in this way.
Example
o CO area A
|
o CoCd 1
|
-------------
| |
o CO area 2 o Cost center1
|
-------------
| |
o Cost center2 o Cost center 3
In this case, company code 2 overwrites company code 1 meaning that all objects (such as cost center CCtr2, CCtr3) lower down in the hierarchy must be assigned to company code 2.
