Definition
You use the alternative profit center structure to adapt the profit center structure of the enterprise organization, so that you can derive the standard hierarchy from it.
This is necessary if profit centers appear more than once in the enterprise organization, meaning the system is not able to assign them to one single node in the standard hierarchy.
If this field is selected, the system automatically derives a structure view for an alternative profit center from the enterprise organization. You can select the field by starting (activating) a program with the button next to the field. This creates the structure view for the alternative profit center.
The field cannot be deactivated, once it is selected, the system always uses the structure view of the alternative profit center when it derives the standard hierarchy.
