Use
For transactions PP16 / PP17:
End date of business event
The end date does not need to be entered explicitly. It can be calculated by the system when you enter the start date and duration of the business event. However, you may have to move back the end date if the business event period contains non-working days, since the system does not carry out checks against the calendar.
The system checks that the business event period entered
is not too short for the number of days in the business event duration.
If it is too short, the system outputs a message to this effect.
The reverse case, however, where the business event
period is longer than the duration set, is admissible
because of the occurrence of non-working days (see above).
If a schedule is stored in the work area which contains an exact sequence of day descriptions (that is, more than just specification of the business event duration), when the start date is changed, the system automatically calculates the new end date according to the schedule set. It does not check for public holidays or the start date set.
For transaction PP18:
End date of the time interval within which the business event
is to be positioned.
