Definition
Step ID
You can specify a step ID for any derivation rules and enhancements. The ID is an attribute of that derivation step.
- For derivation rules, this step ID allows you to jump to the screen for maintaining rules directly from the initial screen (see "Goto -> Direct access"). This is useful if you want to define a batch-input program.
- For enhancements, this is the ID that the system passes on to the exit function. That makes it possible to differentiate between different steps.
