Definition

If you flag this indicator, the relevant transaction data records are deleted before the import. The transaction data records are determined as follows:

1. The keys of the receiver data records are determined.
2. From these, a unique data slice is determined.
3. The selection criteria for the data slice are supplemented by determining the values of the partitioning characteristics.
4. The records belonging to the data slice are deleted.
5. The key figures are created for the receiver records. Note here that the indicator Overwrite/add is invalid for the rule maintenance since no more values to be added exist in the database.
6. The receiver records are updated.

If errors occur, the process is interrupted and it can be restarted using the functions in the log.
