Documentation
Definition
Base figure for a condition involving subsequent (end-of-period) rebate settlement. This figure is used
- to calculate the amount of rebate due according to the condition
- to apportion the rebate income among the plants and tax codes, as well as among the periods (where applicable)
and
- as the agreed figure in the event that a process of comparison and agreement of business volumes is prearranged with the settlement partner to reconcile possible differences in business volume figures prior to settlement.
The data from the business volume comparison/agreement process take priority over the data from the current cumulative business volume figures.
Use
The condition basis can be
- a value
- a quantity
- a weight (gross or net),
- a physical volume, or
- a number of points
The system multiplies the condition basis by the amount in order to determine the total amount for the condition.
Example
If we assume that the condition basis is 100 bottles and the amount is $10 dollars per bottle, the total amount for the condition is $1000.
