Definition
This indicator controls how target costs for the valuation of work in process are calculated.
Use
You can assign the valuation variant for the valuation of work in process to a results analysis version.
Procedure
Enter a valuation variant for the valuation of work in process. You must already have created a valuation variant for the valuation of work in process.
Assign the valuation variant for the valuation of work in process to a results analysis version.
If you haven't defined a valuation variant, the system will valuate the work in process using the standard cost estimate for the material.
Dependencies
The valuation variant determines how much of the unfinished products are capitalized in Financial Accounting after settlement.
You calculate the target costs to valuate the work in process during WIP calculation at the end of the period.
