Documentation

Definition

Indicator specifying whether input tax on one's own funds is levied for vacant rental units. If this is the case, an input tax deduction can be claimed.

If the indicator is set, the rental unit is handled accordingly when the option rate is calculated.

Does not opt

X Opts, unless there is a non-opting renewal contract

* Always opts, regardless of renewal contract

- Does not opt, unless there is an opting renewal contract

If you have set the indicator X, the vacancy opts if an opting renewal contract exists. If the renewal contract does not opt, the vacancy is also evaluated as non-opting. If no renewal contract exists, the vacancy opts. The system only takes account of active renewal contracts.

If you set the indicator -, then the vacancy does not opt, unless there is an opting renewal contract.

On the other hand, if you set indicator *, the vacancy always opts.
