Definition
Indicator stating whether and how a contract renewal is carried out for fixed-term rental agreements.
Use
No indicator is set:
The contract cannot be automatically renewed.
Indicator 1 Autom. extension is set:
The contract can be automatically renewed an unlimited number of times.
Indicator 2 One-off extension is set:
The contract can only be automatically renewed once.
Indicator 3 Optional automatic extension is set:
The tenant has the option for automatic periodic renewal. The tenant has until a certain date before the end of the contract to tell the landlord whether he wants to use this option.
Indicator 4 Optional one-off extension is set:
The tenant has the option for a one-time automatic renewal. The tenant has until a certain date before the end of the contract to tell the landlord whether he wants to use this option.
Dependencies
- The length of the renewed contract is set in the "Renewal mnths" field.
- In the "Notif.months" you set how many months before the end of the contract the tenant must notify the landlord that he wants to use the renewal option.
- For the one-time renewal options indicators (2 and 4), once the renewal has been carried out, the system does not permit any more automatic renewals.
