Documentation
Definition
Assignment of the truck route to a delivery round. The delivery round determines the time at which the route is run. For example, a truck route can be assigned to the morning or evening round. It is also possible to assign one truck route to several delivery rounds.
During bundling, the system uses this link to determine the truck routes used to transport the media products. Route determination takes place using the truck route-edition assignment (assignment of products to the truck route) and the delivery viability sets (assignment of products to delivery rounds in carrier routes).
The system also uses the link between the truck route and the delivery round to determine which route can be used for direct delivery to retailers at the same time as carrier route delivery (e.g. morning round).
