Documentation
Definition
Specifies the quantity given for a material in an external document.
Example
During goods receipt for a summarized JIT call, the system transmits a delivery note per EDI. In this delivery note, the supplier specifies which material and which quantities are to be delivered. Also, the supplier enters for each material, that is, for each delivery note item a list of external release order numbers with the respective external item numbers and quantities. This means that the material in the external release order numbers and external item numbers was contained with the quantities shown. The GR can then be executed for each material with a reference to the individual documents and their items.
A customer transmits in a delivery confirmation for each material not only a list of production numbers (for example, sequenced JIT calls, release order calls), but also a single quantity for each production number.
Material = 0815 Accumulated quantity = 11 pcs
in sequenced JIT call 4711 Single quantity = 2 pcs
in sequenced JIT call 4712 Single quantity = 2 pcs
in sequenced JIT call 4713 Single quantity = 1 pcs
in sequenced JIT call 4713 Single quantity = 1 pcs
in sequenced JIT call 4811 Single quantity = 1 pcs
in sequenced JIT call 4817 Single quantity = 2 pcs
in sequenced JIT call 4818 Single quantity = 2 pcs
As a rule, the accumulated quantity is the total of all the single quant ities.
