Definition

Specifies the item number for a reference document as transmitted in the IDoc.

Example

During goods receipt for a summarized JIT call, the system transmits a delivery note per EDI. In this delivery note, the supplier specifies which materials and which quantities are to be delivered. Also, the supplier provides for each material, that is, for each delivery note item, a list of external release order numbers with the respective external item numbers and quantities. This means that the material in the external release order numbers and external numbers was included with the quantities shown. The GR can then take place for each material with a reference to the individual documents and their items.
