Definition
This indicator is used to control how the result for the condition type is determined.
Use
You have the following options:
- Base amount from a value field - the condition type result is determined by the assigned value field. As a consequence, value fields which were calculated by the fixed procedures or directly transferred are available as base values for further calculations.
You do not have to assign this condition type an access sequence. - Rate from a calculation formula - the condition type result is determined using a calculation formula (e.g. 387) and not using condition tables. You assign the calculation formula when you define the costing sheet.
You do not have to assign this condition type an access sequence. - Amount from a calculation formula - the condition type result is determined using a calculation formula (e.g. 384) and not using condition tables. You assign the calculation formula when you define the costing sheet.
You do not have to assign this condition type an access sequence. - Amount from a condition table - the condition type result is an amount which is determined from one or more condition tables using the assigned access sequence.
- Rate from a condition table - the condition type result is an amount which is calculated as follows:
- First the system determines a percentage rate from one or more condition tables using the assigned access sequence.
- In a second step, the base amount of the condition type is determined. This is done by adding together the condition types assigned in the costing sheet using the 'From level' 'To level' fields.
- The condition type result is then calculated by multiplying the percentage determined by the base amount.
- Quantity-dependent amount from a condition table - the condition type result is an amount determined from one or more condition tables using the assigned access sequence. The system multiplies the amount determined with the content of the quantity field. You assign the quantity field to the costing sheet when defining the valuation strategy.
