Definition
The average opportunity volume is the mean opportunity volume over the calculation period.
The mean is calculated on the basis of the various opportunity volume values in the calculation period. The values are weighted according to the length of their validity in days, added together, and divided by the total number of days in the calculation period. The number of days between the two dates depends on the interest calculation method, which in turn depends on the yield curve selected in the costing rule.
