Definition

Specifies the date for which you want to verify if the export qualifies for 0% VAT on the given day.

Use

For the export to qualify for 0% VAT, it must meet certain conditions within the confirmation period. The first day of the confirmation period is the export approval date and the program uses the number of days that you entered to determine the length of the confirmation period.

Since the freight must cross the border within this confirmation period, the program checks both the cross border date (if available) and the verification date that you entered to verify exports as follows:

  • The program tries to retrieve the cross border date from the final customs declaration document. If the cross border date is earlier than the verification date that you entered, it uses the cross border date to verify the exports.
  • If the program cannot retrieve the cross border date or this date is later than the date that you entered as verification date, it uses the verification date to verify the exports.
