Definition
Apportions the incoming and outgoing costs on Controlling objects by cost element and calculating period. In this case only periodical settlement is allowed for transferring costs from one Controlling object to another.
Use
Dependencies
Customize the settlement profile for the Controlling object so that it supports cost element-based settlement. To do so, in the IMG activity Maintain Allocation Structures, choose Allocation Structure -> Settlement Cost Elements and select By Cost Element.
