Definition
Specifies the total number of pages that were already printed in the current year.
Use
There are two use cases for this field:
- You enter an interval for the key dates that does not include the last day of the year. In this case, the system uses the number that you enter here for the numbering of the intermediate pages. For example, if you enter 10, the system starts the numbering with 11.
- You enter the last day of the year as one of the key dates. In this case, the system numbers the pages as described above. It also uses this number to fill in the following values:
- "Total Pages of the Year" section on the last intermediate page for the year
- "Total Number of Pages" (for the current cash journal) section on the last page
The system calculates the value by adding the number you enter to the number of additional pages for the current print job.
Dependencies
Example
On December 7, you print the cash journal. You have previously printed 240 pages this year, so you enter 240 in this field. The system starts numbering the intermediate pages with 241 and prints 10 pages. The last page number is 250.
On December 31, you print the cash journal again. You enter 250 in this field. The system starts numbering the intermediate pages with 251 and prints 10 pages. It prints 260 as the value for the "Total Pages of the Year" in the appropriate sections on the last intermediate page and the last page.
