Definition
Used to control whether you want the acquisition date to be taken into account in settlement accounting for PBE.
Use
Only for internal settlement. External settlement always takes place on the basis of the actual values in the PBE report. This indicator does not exclude PBE documents from the settlement run.
Normal case 1:
PBE item is delivered to construction site at approx. 4 p.m. According to the PBE report, one more hour's work was performed on this day.
Result:
If this indicator is set, an hour on the acquisition date is settled without the PBE filler calendar. With the PBE filler calendar, an appropriate number of hours are filled and settled.
Normal case 2:
PBE item is delivered to the construction site. No PBE report has been written.
Result:
The indicator is set, but does not have an effect because there are no PBE reports to settle either with or without the PBE filler calendar. The equipment item is settled as a TBE item.
Special case 3:
The equipment item was in operation on the sending construction site on the shipping date (= retirement date). A PBE report has been written for 2 hours. The retirement date counts indicator for PBE is set.
Result:
Without the filler calendar, 2 hours are charged to the sending construction site. With the filler calendar, the hours are filled up to 8 hours, for example. If this indicator is not set, no hours are filled up.
If no PBE report is written for this day on the receiving construction site, then no hours would be created or filled with the filler calendar for this construction site.
Result:
The PBE item would be settled as a TBE item (=double settlement). For more information on this special case, see Acquisition date counts.
If a PBE report of 2 hours exists for the receiving construction site on the acquisition date, then 2 hours are settled normally without the filler calendar and the hours filed uo to make a total of 8 hours with the filler calendar.
