Definition
The recipient type is the central control element in CEM. The recipient type is used to assign recipients to a reference type and account assignment object in FI/CO.
Use
You must enter the recipient type when you create a recipient.
Example
A recipient type can be any of the following:
- External recipient or third party
- Internal construction site
- Work cooperative or joint venture
- Building contractor's yard
- Warehouse
- WBS element
- Dummy recipient
