Describes the structure that a number in a catalog should have. The template determines the following:
- the total length of the number in the catalog
- the lengths of the individual blocks that form the number in the catalog
- the characters that are allowed
- for numbers N
- for letters A
- for numbers nad letters X
Note: if there are already entries in a catalog, then the template should not be changed.
