Definition

The rate of excise duty, expressed as a percentage, that is to be levied.

Use

The excise duty percentage is maintained for all materials subject to excise duty. This is to be maintained for all materials having a chapter ID, even if the percentage is zero. Normal and special rates are maintained dependent upon excise tax indicator for the company itself, and the vendor/customer excise indicator.
