Use
Dependencies
You only need to use this field if you use the old excise determination method.
Example
Supplementary Documentation - J_1ISSIST 0001
Procedure
Define a status for each category (or slab) of sales volume. For each slab, specify the rate of excise duty for:
- Vendors who are participating in the CENVAT scheme
- Vendors who are not participating in the CENVAT scheme
Examples
Dependencies
When you have defined the statuses, assign them to the vendors who qualify as small-scale industries (go back to the previous screen and choose Vendor Excise Details ).
Supplementary Documentation - J_1ISSIST 0002
Procedure
If the vendor qualifies as an SSI, specify which status it has. Which status you assign will depend on the vendor's sales forecast for the year.
Dependencies
If the vendor is participating in the CENVAT scheme, you must also select the C field.
If you have not already defined the SSI statuses, you can do so by going back to the Excise Rate Maintenance screen and choosing SSI rates.
