Definition
Displays the amount of interest due on the basic excise duty, arising as a result of the quantity change that you have enterered.
The interest is backdated to the date on which you removed the goods from your premises (on the Certification Dates tab, the Dispatched On date).

Dependencies
You can configure the interest rates in Customizing for Logistics - General, by choosing Tax on Goods Movements -> India -> Business Transactions -> Exports Under Excise Regulations -> Exports -> Make Settings for ARE-1 Procedure.
