Documentation
Definition
Specifies the code that the system uses to determine tax rates according to Brazilian requirements. Each standard region can have one or more Brazilian tax regions assigned to it.
Procedure
When you create customer, vendor, and plant master records, you enter the region. The system then automatically determines the appropriate tax region, and enters it in the Tax jurisdiction code field in the master records.
Examples
Dependencies
You create tax regions and assign regions to them in Customizing for Financial Accounting (FI), under Financial Accounting Global Settings -> Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Basic Settings -> Brazil -> Define Brazilian Tax Regions.
