Definition
The "Usage" indicator determines how the tax calculation for ICMS/IPI is done for a specific tax code. The usage is only necessary when calculating ICMS/IPI or Sub.Trib. Tax codes which trigger tax calculation for service taxes (e.g. ISS or INSS) do not need a usage. Depending on the usage (industrialization or consumption) different calculation formulas are used.
