Definition
If this indicator is marked, the IPI base value is stored as 'Excluded/Exempt base' instead of 'Other base' in the Nota Fiscal database if the respective tax code does not trigger an IPI calculation. The indicator is ignored if an IPI calculation takes place.
Examples:
The tax code 'I3' (as delivered with the localization) triggers the calculation for both ICMS and IPI. Therefore this indicator is ignored.
The tax code 'I1' (as delivered with the localization) triggers the calculation of ICMS only. The indicator controls how the IPI base value is stored in the Nota Fiscal database.
Note:
Base values stored as 'Other base' are reported as "Outras" in Modelo-2 "Registro de Saídas" and as code "3" in Modelo-1 "Registro de Entradas".
Base values stored as 'Excluded/exempt base' are reported as "Isentas ou não Tributadas" in Modelo-2 and as code "2" in Modelo-1.
